Inman Claims Back-to-Back Titles![]()
Ashlee Inman won the individual women’s 5k title for the second consecutive year at the 2011 Impossible Possibilities’ St. Patrick’s Day Festival held on March 12, 2011. Inman (Fort Worth, TX) finished 3rd overall with a time of 19:37:20, while fellow Fort Worth runner, Paul Coppin, claimed the men’s title with a final time of 19:12:30. Cora Turner (Alvarado, TX) and Philip Wilson (Fort Worth, TX) took home top honors in the Overall Masters category with individual times of 19:55:00 and 21:09:08, respectively. A pair of eight-year-olds set the pace in the 1-mile kids’ race. Wyatt Geurin (St. Jo, TX) finished first with a time of 8:10:20, and Taya McDaniel (Fort Worth, TX) won the girl’s division title with a time of 8:41:20. CLICK HERE FOR FULL RACE RESULTS 944 participants competed at the 2011 St. Patrick’s Day Festival with total attendance reaching 1,300. The monies raised during the five-hour celebration go directly to fund college scholarships for graduating high school seniors. The Impossible Possibilities' 2011 Scholarship Class includes: Adan Gonzalez, W. H. Adamson High School in Dallas (Georgetown University-accepted) Kara Hull, Richland High School in Richland Hills (University of Oklahoma-accepted) Anna Larsen, Warren Travis White High School in Dallas (Texas Tech University-accepted) Teresa Ricado, Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas (Texas Women’s University-accepted) Brandy Sapp, Dunbar High School in Fort Worth (Stephen F. Austin University-accepted) Impossible Possibilities is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit organization based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area providing education initiatives locally and abroad.
