Ramiro Garcia and Ashlee Inman of Fort Worth won the individual men and women’s titles, respectively, at the Impossible Possibilities’ St. Patrick’s Day-5K Festival on March 13, 2010.

Garcia led the field with an overall time of 16:04:50, while Inman clocked in at 19:34:50. James Jackson (17:03:60) claimed the Overall Male Masters honors, and 2009 5K women’s champion Laura Nelson rounded out the Masters category with a time of 21:36:40.

Daisy Martinez (07:19:70) finished first overall in the 1-mike kids’ race, and Parker Clovis took the boy’s division title with a final time of 7:35:50. Lockheed Martin claimed two team awards: fastest team and largest team (56 participants).

700 participants competed at the 2010 St. Patrick’s Day-5K Festival. The 5K Festival supports the organization’s Scholarship Initiative, which funds college scholarships for high school seniors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The 2010 Impossible Possibilities' Scholarship Class includes:

Morgan Bruton, Lamar High School (Texas A&M at College Station)

Mitongu Kabasele, Green B. Trimble Technical High School (University of Texas at Austin)

Shannon Page, Oscar Dean Wyatt High School (Texas Woman’s University in Denton)

Ramandeep Singh, Green B. Trimble Technical High School (University of Texas at Arlington)

Steven Stults, Haltom High School (Texas Christian University)

Impossible Possibilities is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit organization based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area providing education initiatives locally and abroad.
