Impossible Possibilities awarded five students $1,500 college scholarships as part of its annual Scholarship Initiative.

More than 50 students in the Tarrant and Dallas counties submitted scholarship applications. The Impossible Possibilities’ Board of Directors interviewed 10 finalists and based its decision on the following criteria: academic achievement, life experience, individual need and desire to succeed. “It’s such a rewarding experience to learn more about the dreams these students have for their lives,” President Joshua Hernandez said. “Our Board had a very difficult time choosing this year’s scholarship class because all 10 finalists were deserving candidates, each equipped with a proven track record and undeniable potential.” The Impossible Possibilities’ 2010 Scholarship Class includes: Morgan Bruton, Lamar High School (Texas A&M at College Station) Mitongu Kabasele, Green B.
