Impossible Possibilities will host its 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day-5K Festival at Trinity Park located at 2401 University Drive in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, March 13, 2010. The festival is open to the general public and raises funds for the organization’s Scholarship Initiative, which helps send local DFW students to college. The afternoon event features a 5K Run/Walk, 1-Mile Kids’ Race, Awards Ceremony, Live Music, Kid Zone and Sponsor Expo. The Covey Restaurant in Fort Worth will also be on hand serving Dominion Farm's Irish smoked sausage and perfect pours of Guinness stout, Harp lager and Smithwick's ale. Make sure to bring a valid driver's license and additional cash if you plan to visit the Guinness Beer Garden.
The Impossible Possibilities’ Sponsor Expo offers a unique forum for local businesses to highlight their goods and services to the contestants, family members and spectators in attendance. The Kid Zone provides additional entertainment for children looking to jump head first into an afternoon filled with games and activities. The Kid Zone features a slew of bounce houses and obstacle courses. And for those searching for a relaxing getaway from the bustle of a day-to-day work week, Impossible Possibilities’ Center Stage will feature Texas Country Music from a trio of bands set to perform. Families are urged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, so they can lounge under the trees and enjoy the entertainment. Event Bands
