Amon G. Carter FoundationThe Amon G. Carter Foundation recently awarded Impossible Possibilities (IP) a $5,000 grant for program related expenditures. The IP Board of Directors will use the grant to expand its existing programs and initiatives beginning in 2012. The grant will also provide the Board additional flexibility to fund new projects for the benefit of students in the Tarrant and Dallas counties. “We want to offer our sincerest thanks to the Amon G. Carter Foundation and to Mr. John Robinson for believing in Impossible Possibilities and its efforts within the community,” President Joshua Hernandez said. “Mr. and Mrs. Carter have impacted the lives of countless individuals through their foundation, and we will do our very best to continue their standard of giving back.” The Amon G. Carter Foundation is a Texas non-profit corporation established in 1945 by Amon G. Carter and his wife Nenetta Burton Carter. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) exempt private foundation as defined in the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. Grants support work in the fields of art and culture, civic and public affairs, education, health and human services. Impossible Possibilities is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit organization based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area providing education initiatives locally and abroad. |
